This class is required before taking any of my other classes and is a requirement for attending the retreats as you need to know how to journey.
Class will be held at the yoga studio, 601 1st St. E. (Hwy 34), Studio #1, Park Rapids, MN 56470
I do ask that you park in the street and not in the parking lot for classes. We are in a mini strip mall and the other businesses (an E-cig shop and a take and bake pizza place) have customers coming and going and need open parking places. Our studio has a big YOGA sign above our door.
To register, contact Jeanne at email@example.com, sending your name, phone number and email address. Registration is required.
Saturday, January 6th, Intro to Celtic Shamanism Class, 10-3pm, $50. Come and explore the pre-Christian ancient Celtic beliefs. Come into the magic and mystery of the Celtic world. The Celts walked freely between the Worlds, in communion with the ancestors , and in conscious awareness of their interconnectedness with nature. What can we learn from the Celtic World? Concepts discussed will include the Otherworld, Betwixt and Between, the Mists, the Hearth, and the Celtic Heart. There will be an outdoor exercise so dress appropriately for the weather. This class is a pre-requisite for attending the two year training in Celtic Shamanism. You do need to know how to journey to attend this class. Please bring a drum if you have one, bandana, and a pen and notebook to record your journeys and class notes. You are also asked to bring a poem (any length) about nature that you can read in class.
Saturday, January 27th, New 2 year training in Celtic Shamanism, 10-4pm.
Begin a new journey in life learning about the gods and goddesses of the pre-Christian Celts. The first year we work through the Celtic Spirit Wheel and the four festivals. The Second year we move into learning about the Cauldrons of the Soul and Faery Doctoring. The final class will include working on volunteers from the public who are seeking healing. The class meets every other month on a Saturday determined by the students. Cost is $1200 payable with an initial $200 nonrefundable deposit that pays for your first class and class #12. Then most students pay either $50 a month or $100 at each class. If you miss a class you are still financially responsible for that class and I will send you my class notes. If you decide to discontinue the training you are not financially responsible for the remaining classes but you do forfeit your class #12 payment from the deposit. You do need to make a commitment to this training. Class limit of 10.
