2025 Spring Shamanic Retreat Tentative Agenda
Rising in Consciousness, United in Love
April 4-6th, Camp Knutson, Crosslake, MN
(All activities are optional)
Friday, April 4th
Arrival time is 1pm – 4pm.Check in at Angela Hall upon arrival on campus.
Jody Johnson will be setting up sauna times so let her know at retreat if you are interested in a sauna this weekend.
5pm—Meet at Timberlane for initial informational meeting
5:30pm---dinner at Angela Hall
7-8pm Evening session—Timberlane----A welcome and setting our circle for the weekend.  We will drum, smudge, do introductions and call in the directions and our power animals, setting the circle for the weekend. Bring your drums and rattles and eye coverings, notebook and pen, cushions/blankets for sitting on floor.
8-8:45pm  Mary Everson in Timberlane-- We will be going on a guided journey to find peace and love for our hearts. Mary will be using a heart grid along with her light language on this journey and you will receive messages and direction.
9:00pm-10:15pm-- Shamanic Trance Dance led by Jeanne—Angela Hall.  We will dance and journey to release our fears and hold an intention in our hearts.  Dress comfortably.
Saturday, April 5th
6:48 am the sun rises—Come and drum up the sun.  Arrive 5 minutes prior to the sunrise with your drum—outside lakeside at Angela Hall
7:15am Chanting with Emily in Timberlane--“Kirtan is a style of Indian music that blends chanting, song and movement. In this class Emily will play the harmonium and introduce a chant for participants to connect with the energy of the divine feminine, in love, peace, and prosperity. Drums and dancing are welcome!” 
8:00am--Breakfast at Angela Hall.
9:15-9:45am Gentle morning yoga with chair yoga option with Shana Roskens---Angela Hall— “Movement to get the blood and lymph moving and vibration humming for each chakra." .  Bring your mat or blanket. Chairs are provided.
10am-11:00pm Morning Session with Jeanne.  Timberlane. In this session we will learn about the Aztec goddess, Coatlicue who came to me in a message, and how she is very present in our world today and we need to work with her.   We will be doing a journey.  Bring your drum, notebook, pen, eye covering.
11:00-12:00  Making Flower Crowns with Jody Johnson—rec/craft center-- To celebrate spring we will be making flower crowns in the craft room. There will be flowers, ribbon, crystals and bases to build the crowns on. All materials will be provided but there will be a small fee for the crystals if you choose to use them. Feel free to bring your own flowers if you want a specific flower or any other materials to add if you have an idea. Looking forward to creating some flower crowns at retreat with you all!!
Noon--Lunch at Angela Hall
Noon to 2pm—Free time to go for a walk, rest, or bask in the sun.
2:00-4:00pm—Timberlane.  Jeanne will be presenting to you her call to bring to you the Mayan energies of Kukulcan (Quetzalcoatl—the feathered serpent) and what he is bringing into our world.  We will then view a 30 minute video of how these energies are connected with the energies of the pyramids worldwide and the connection to the stars and Orion, the hunter. We will go on a journey so have your eye pillow, notebook and pen to record your journey.
5:30pm--Dinner, Angela Hall

7:45pm--Crystal singing bowls sound bath with Melissa Danzl.  Allow the sound to bring you to a different space of stillness, so the body can relax, the mind can slow down and deeper levels of healing can be seen, felt and experienced. Please bring a mat to lay on, a pillow, a blanket if desired and anything else that will add to your comfort during the session.
 
8:45pm Fire Ceremony at fire ring behind Husby or if bad weather, by fireplace at Angela Hall We will experience an Incan fire ceremony to Ignite your sacred mission. And Kelly Blackledge, storyteller, will be telling a compilation of stories of love, loss, and the art of awe. We will be given feathered boas to process down to the fire as feathered serpents.
9:45pm—free time, star gazing, socializing etc.
Sunday, April 6th
6:46am—Drumming up the sun—outside lakeside Angela Hall—Come in your jammies!
9am – Breakfast/brunch at Angela Hall—Thank staff
10:45am Community healing for all with roses, cedar boughs, lavender and water with drumming and chanting--Angela Hall  Bring your drum.
11:30am Closing Circle. Angela Hall
