2019 Spring Retreat Tentative Agenda: Riding the Winds Through the Great Change
Shamanic Retreat, April 5-7th, Camp Knutson, Crosslake, MN
Begins Friday at 5pm and ends on Sunday by noon
You can participate it any or all activities.
Please know that recording of any sessions is not allowed. Recording threatens the safety of the retreaters regarding confidentiality. It sets up an unsafe atmosphere which deters sharing openly. Please honor the safety of the tribe. Thank you.
Friday, April 5th.
1-4:30pm—Check in at Angela Hall to get your room assignments.
5pm---Timberlane ---A quick meeting time to gather together, to answer questions, and other information on being a tribe.
5:30pm—Dinner at Angela Hall. All meals are held at Angela Hall.
7-9pm—Evening session at Timberlane. (New people meet with Jeanne at Angela Hall about 6:50pm) Bring your drums and rattles and cushions and blankets and notebook and pen.
--Welcoming, overview of weekend, setting circle, introductions, calling in power animals etc. We will spend time getting to know each other, discuss the feathers you brought and explore our intentions for the weekend. Discuss change and the wind spirits and for our service portion will work with Tom Kenyon's work to bring love to our world..
9:30pm-10:45pm—Trance Dance at Angela Hall. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle. Come and experience a dancing journey to go deep inside and work with your retreat intentions.
Saturday, April 6th
6:47am is sunrise—Drumming up the sun outside Angela Hall. Bring your drum. Come a few minutes before. And wearing your jammies is okay!!
8:00am Breakfast at Angela Hall.
9am-9:30am—Dancing from the Heart with Wendy Siracusa, Angela Hall. Dancing from the HeartIn this dance, we begin by connecting to the earth energies. We then flow into alignment with our inner goddess, connect to our inner sun, and use sound to purify the heart. We end the dance with a short musical integration of our energies.
Wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle. Movement to open your heart.
9:45am – 11:45am –Morning Session: Timberlane
We will be working with the Wind Spirits in this time of Great Change. The winds bring change and so it is important for us to learn how to navigate and communicate with the wind spirits to move more easily and gracefully through the changes. .Bring whistles.
2pm - ? Afternoon Session: Timberlane
We will learn about air dragons and how to work with them and more?
Stories from the Earth With Kelly Blackledge
Take a walk outside with Kelly Blackledge as she shares stories from nature that deepen your connection with the earth and sky. We’ll review the science behind grounding yourself, explore the depths of the soil around us and connect with the spirits of the wind. Dress warm and bring a journal.
5:30pm—Dinner at Angela Hall
7:00-7:30pm—Crystal Singing Bowls with Elissa Stevens—Angela Hall Bring a blanket, pillow, or yoga mat to lie down on to experience the healing of the bowls.
8:00pm—Fire Ceremony at fire pit by Husby (weather permitting) or inside in front of fireplace at Angela Hall. We will be working with the Galactic Dragons and the Star Ancestors in learning their wisdom and opening our higher heart in preparation for the Ascension. We will be initiated into the higher heart by the Dusky Pink Dragon from Andromeda.
Following the fire ceremony come join us Stargazing at the Point (weather permitting). If the skies are clear, we like to go down to the Point, lay in a circle head to center, and talk to the star ancestors. Be sure to wear warm clothing. I have a tarp or two I can bring and if you have a blanket, please bring that too! The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy!!
Sunday, April 7th:
6:45am—Drumming up the sun at Angela Hall—you can come in your jammies!
9:00am—Breakfast/brunch at Angela Hall and Thanking staff
10:45am—Angela Hall—Community Healing for all with roses, cedar boughs, lavender and sacred water with drumming and chanting.
11:30am—Closing circle. Thanks, gratitude. Carissa’s song.
